Examples of life

I live in a rural state, take lots of photos, and travel more than I should.

My submission for GDSP #16. This was a lot harder to do than I thought, I may tweak my setup and do it again.

What you will need for this prompt:

A chair or stool (not a stool sample) and a hat.

What to shoot:

Place the chair/stool in a relatively open space, away from walls at least.  It should face the camera straight on if it is a chair or a stool with arms. Sit in the chair so your right shoulder is slightly forward and your legs are angled camera right, so that your body is facing the camera at an angle.  Chin up, looking straight at the camera, stretch your neck forward slightly. The hat just needs to be in the frame, it can be anywhere as long as it is visible.

You need to have the most arrogant ass smirk, smile, look on your face.  Think how much better you are at X,Y, and Z than someone else.  Really think about it, there are things we are all better at, so think of how you are better at that than one other person (forget all of the niceties and humbleness you have learned).  You are superior, you are the best, and there is no one better.  At the moment you feel that swell of awesomeness, snap the image.  Look at it.  Is it good?  Can you do better?  Sure you can.  If you didn’t feel the inspiration before, now the new you can be superior to the old you.  Reposition yourself, and think how much better you are than you were.

There is a lot of direction here, very precise direction.  Follow it as close as you can, but do more with the freedom that is there.
